A few of us were out today on the peas but it was hard going.The few that were flying about in the early morning soon dried up and were few and far between.Must have been something to do with the heat today as i think most of the pigeons were sat in the shade roosting. Then a helicopter was flying low overhead and it kept doing circuits and it frightened pigeons from the woods away from us. Think the total for the day was 32 pigeons.But i cannot be sure as not all managed to last the day with the heat and lack of pigeons so left early taking pigeons with them. I think everybody enjoyed it so not a wasted day.
