  1. I have been advised to ask you stock finishing experts which die to use. I have an old Miroku Mk70 that I want to strip the stock and refinish with oil. I really like the dark stocks that I have seen around that are finished with a satin / matt finish. The wood is not too bad and I reckon oiling it will make it stand out but I know I will have to stain it with something before I start to oil it. Can any of you guru's recommend a stain as to put on before the Napier London gunstock finish kit that I am planning on using. Ideally I would like to make it as dark as this picture that I found on the internet.
