  1. When able to drive right up to the site of the hide I use a 12v car battery for the rotary, safe in the knowledge that it will last all day. I hade to walk a fair distance to the hide site yesterday and, with no aternative available, had no option but to lug a 12 v car battery across the fields which nearly gave me a heart attack! Looking on the sites search engine I see that there are various lightweight options available. Motorcycle batteries look like a good option but they ain`t cheap. I`m told that house alarm batteries work o.k. if you accept that they may not last all day. However, very little of the info on other threads is very specific. My question is this - whats the makers name of the best lightweight battery and where exactly can I buy it? Thanks in anticipation.
