  1. hi gents, took my buckmark out last night with this little torch mounted on top, and i've got to say i'm rather impressed. i don't know if you guys can remember me ranting about my old tracer lamp and some of the ways i've tried to get over some of the problems but i genuinely think i've found the answer to my prayers. range is always going to be an issue with something so small, but upto 80-100 yds using the red filter then this does the job on rabbits. just think, no more battery packs, no more bloody wires to tangle yourself up in! i only wish the beam could be focused for longer ranges just for spotting, the book says it has a range of just shy of 300yds, this is a bit of a porky imo, and i found myself having to walk most of the way down the field to get in range for the lamp, ok if there's something to shoot there, but a pita if there isn't. battery life seems ok too, over 2 hrs on the lamp last night, with no apparent drain by the time i packed up. over all i'm pleased with it, not sure if it's worth the price tag though (£90 for the kit) but i've bought it now and i'm just glad it's not a lemon
