    up at 4.45 this morning to get loaded up, got down to freshly drilled peas at 5.30 started setting up wanted to be early not expecting a lot of pigeons but a few rooks had been about. Struck off 6am first shot,miss, anyway the day trundles on not constant but not boring finished the day with. 45 pigeons 4 rooks 1 carrion crow 1 jackdaw had 92 shots not the best shooting by far but happy as I was using a side by side that I had not shot for about 10 yrs mostly use o/u or auto so glad of the day out
