  1. just a reminder to one and all to check their dogs paws frequently for grass seeds, I have been checking my springers, but obviously not often enough, was licking its front paw on Tuesday after being out on the pigeon, so had a look, had a seed in between the center two toes on both front and one rear, pulled out all three seeds, thought that was the end of it, but the dog has been worrying one of the front paws, favouring that leg when out, it looks clean, not inflamed or warm, but will not leave it alone, so had it to the vet today, nothing to see as dog has been licking it clean, result, on 5 days of antibiotics along with salt baths, now in a collar to stop it licking it clean, back to the vet on Wednesday, if it is not right it will be surgery as there is something in there, now this is not a complaint about prices, its about being warned and being prepared, just under £70 today second visit will be around £30 Wednesday if it has cleared up, goodness knows what it will be if there is surgery,
