  1. Last December a group of nine Guns enjoyed a 90 bird day in the glorious Shropshire countryside in the shadow of Clee Hill. Hopton Shoot is meticulously organised with the birds very well presented and testing. A meal is provided in Keeper`s Cottage at the conclusion of the day. We enjoyed the experience so much that I`ve been asked by some of last year`s party to arrange a 100 bird mixed day (pheasant and partridge) at the same shoot, again for nine guns. The date is Thursday 17 December. More about the Shoot here: http://www.hoptoncourtsyndicate.co.uk/index.asp The cost will be £412 per gun based on £37 per bird, refreshments included, but not tips or accommodation. This is a slight rounding up rather than get into pence and decimals. Any surplus will go into Keeper`s tips. Some of the guns stayed the previous night at The Crown, Hopton Wafers. This is a traditional pub with a friendly bar, log fires and comfortable lounges. More about The Crown here: http://www.crownathopton.co.uk/ If you`d like to join us, I have three vacancies currently. Please PM me and I`ll give you further info.
