O.K. chaps, let us have a sensible conversation regarding how to get shotgun cartridges onto the market. If you were me and you decided to make shotgun cartridges with up to date machinery and have all of the Licenses etc in place, how would you get them out there ? Before you answer back, if I can save you a little time, some of the gun shops I have approached, have come back to me with various answers. The main one is, that when they place an Order to a cartridge Company, they expect 28 days credit or possibly longer. Let me say from the beginning, that itself is not a problem. The other main answer is, who are you Proper Cartridges? never heard of you. My main attack was to get them in the hands of the end user and keep speaking to the end user directly and if he likes them, he would walk into his local gun shop and say the cartridges are good, or whatever, can you get some in for me ? But also chaps, let me tell you that I have had the following answers back:- Cartridges are not worth handling, I would sooner buy guns than buy cartridges. Cartridges are heavy to handle and I only make a couple of quid per 1,000. You are a new brand, why should people buy yours ? I don't want any more choice, I think I have quite enough as it is. So I think these are quite enough examples of what some gun shops say to me. We hear so much about Express, how did they do it ? Some people tell me there was a shortage at that time, due to the accident at Eley. This was mentioned, whether it was true or not, I do not know. To conclude, my means of attack is to get them directly into the hands of the end user and so they will approach their local gun shop, to get my cartridges into stock. From the 3 advertised prices of my cartridges, there is definitely some room for the Trade, on 2 of them ;- My Hi Speed at £209 and my 32 GRAM at £189 Unfortunately, I can offer no more than £10 including vat discount to the Trade on my 30g 6 Ultimate Game at £169 In my humble opinion, Trade is any person / persons who buys a job lot of 20,000 or more in one Order. Yes I am open for deals, especially if you are a new person in a new area, to get them going in your vicinity. Let us have some sensible replies please.

hello all well as expected lead shot up to day at 68 euros per ton on sizes 1.9mm through to 3.3 mm and will prob keep going coz of batteries for the winter months no doubt mr browning will be along to give us the maths on the price per cartridge but don't worry chaps I will swallow it for you so how generous I am thank you george

hi all now your honest feedback will be very much appreciated tomorrow I am setting up the machine to do 67mm 32 gram nickel shot plastic disc or obturator by guilandi at 6.5 mm thick with a Diana wad this is a sold order of 30 000 in your humble opinions is this a fibre cartridge coz it does cracking ballistics at 385 x 2.5 by 580 bar to 620bar you see people I hate making a bad job of anything I do and the deviations I get with the 4 mm opc card and big wad I would not like to talk about what other companies do and put on the market is not my concern but I will say this the day you must shoot fibre or must shoot steel is the day I stop shooting maybe go to Bolivia and open a dove shooting lodge now point of law coz the main driving wad is fibre is this a fibre cartridge thanks all george

hi all , let me first apologize to any of Jabbs customers for them thinking automatically that the wads were fibre instead of plastic. so lets be sure this time people, the 3 carts in advert are plastic wads . You see when I get 10 phone calls a day saying George what is your cheapest cart you do, I automatically reply to think its plastic. Now look at the thread of over 6000 views, is plastic or fibre mentioned ? furthermore when people say to me on endless occasions, I use 28 gram of 7.5 through full choke, that to me is plastic, so my apologies to anybody concerned. thanks George

your comments please would this be a good idea to test other peoples cartridges I have installed since2008 ballistic equipment by sabre more or less the same as the proof house at Birmingham I pay about 50 pounds plus vat to have my loads treble checked one from the powder maker I buy from to say that batch is ok for the prescribed purchase of what it was ment for then I do it then before I put that cart on the open market it goes to b ham so whats a fair price you will get a 10 shot print out thanks all

hi all do any of you people know of anybody in the country but preference would be given to the north to a person who could make a small version of a bleiminster shot machine if you go on u tube type in lead shot making then type this word keihinsdad you will see a machine making I think 400 ils per hour the shot making is what I am after the drying and grading is not a big problem if you go to atesci you will see a big blieminster doing everthing a small version of this please thank you all george
