  1. Just a punt, one of my Joiner’s had his van broken into tonight. The Cctv picked them up unlocking the van, indicators flashed just as if unlocked with the fob. So no alarm went off. we’re assuming they ran codes through a dummy key as that’s been happening a lot lately, emptied all his power tools and locked it back up!! Then a car pulled up with no lights and they loaded everything in and drove off. I’m trying to work out the make of vehicle. I recognise the wheels but can’t put my finger on which car they are from. Any ideas chaps?? Any help greatly appreciated kind regards Delwint
  2. This has been going around the gundog training community over the last day or so and our dog's trainer has asked that we bring this to the attention of others so as to raise awareness in the area. Whilst nothing new I'm sure, I thought it was worth posting so even if it prevents one theft then its done its job... 2 men in a white R reg transit tried to snatch a gundog from a lady handler as she put it back in her car in Stansted Abbotts near Ware yesterday (24/01/2013). Fortunately the ladies other dog bit one of the men and he let go. The lady drove to the Police station and the van, which had been following her, then drove off. we are also aware that 3 gundogs have been stolen in Hertfordshire this week. It seems these thieves are organised and know what to look for, please take care if training on your own, keep to well lit and populated areas and do not leave your dogs alone if out on a shoot this week. Please share this message with all your gundog owning friends in Hertfordshire/beds/essex. Of course, if you see anything contact your local friendly police force on the appropriate numbers. Mark
