another sloe topic

right i have been fermenting sloes this year , i have used port wine yeast to increase the alchohol conntent and there is enough for 5 gallons , i have added 3 kilo's of sugar and the solution is very thick and i mean thick ,i added sugar and just coverd the sloes with water and i am wondering if it may need some more water or would you just leave it and let the fermentation complete and hope it goes thinner,

next i have to send the wife shopping for 5 gallons of gin and vodka because i dont want to appear to have a drink problem

the smell is superb and cant wait for it to be finnished
