Stealth Stalker Posted October 30, 2009 Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 I've just remembered one amusing & potentially dangerous event that maybe a warning to you all, at the end of the day as we were packing all the gear together (I keep all of my decoying gear in my monster bag) I'd just pulled the draw cord on the holdall together when an accrid plastic burning smell filled my nostrils & smoke was pouring out the top opening of the bag My metal cradles had bridged across the terminals of one of my small batterys that I hadn't used & was rapidly burning its way through my deeks & net Luckily we couldn't drive in to the field otherwise the bag would have been chucked in the back of the landy ! Cue panic as I realized what was going on, pulling all the gear back out the bag, to find one slightly melted deek & net & a knackered brand new battery SS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
