scrob Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 Hi guys, Today I traded in our Browning Ultra XS for a lovely AYA No.2 At present, the Browning is held by my dad on his FAC and my FAC shows it as being on loan from him. So far we are going through the "One-on/One-off" procedure to get the AYA put on in place of the old gun. However, to complicate matters, we would like to change it around so that I hold the gun on my FAC and he has it on loan from me. Is this going to be tricky to do? Can anyone advise on the PSNI paperwork or procedures to complete all of this? The guy I bought the gun from is reaching retirement and doesn't seem fully clued up on the paperwork side of things, other than the standard one on/one off transfer. scrob Posted November 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 Well I finally managed to catch up with the peelers.. they advised we both need to fill in 30-1 forms (available online) and apply to vary both our licences, so that mine goes from On Loan to Permanent and dad's goes from Permanent to On Loan.
