vole
I have permission to shoot on a couple of farms and they would be happy for me to use a .22 lr so I have joined a club to get practise . After a few more visits I hope to get an F.A.C but was wondering about the procass involved in going from being allowed to target shoot on a club range to shooting quarry on the farm (apart from speakeing to the farmer of course). I cant afford anything other than a .22 lr at present plus the fact that I want to get a load more experience before stepping up to that calibre. I have been advised to ask for .223 on my application but have heard I might have it denied if I dont get one for a long while.I quite fancy .17 HMR even before I go for anything more potent. Thanks for any advice chaps.
alexr
I talked to the FLO for my area about this and she told me that if the land has been checked outfor the calaber then you just put in with you signed permission to shoot on the land at the same time as the aplication for a gun to use at the club.
