pointerman
Anyone out there who has a magic ingredient to rid a dog of the smell of slurry? Tried, ketchup, fabreze, shampooing dog and he still stinks. Good retreive though!
cracker
Anyone out there who has a magic ingredient to rid a dog of the smell of slurry? Tried, ketchup, fabreze, shampooing dog and he still stinks. Would not use Febreze bathing a dog regardless how safe it's claimed. This solution Bathe the dog in a mixture of 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide (from chemist), 1/4 cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and a teaspoon of liquid detergent. After 5 minutes rinse the animal with water. Repeat if necessary. The mixture must be used immediately after mixing as it will not work if stored for any length of time. DO NOT STORE IN A CLOSED CONTAINER - it releases oxygen gas so it could break the container. applied correctly, should take care of it.
