Thanks gents for your thoughts,i think he may have pushed a little to quick and now the dog is a little to wound up.

I dont think its bored ,but i think it cant wait its turn when retrieving,it lives indoors,and gets attention a lot of the timei,so when it dos'nt get its way it whines. I get him to move the dog when it whines as you said it can get anouying after a while.I have told him we have got to stop it because people wont put up with it on shoots.

Was out training yesterday ,my mates young dog (8 months) was whining most of the time! anybody got any tips i can pass on how to stop this . steve
