COACH
I wouldn`t send a letter at all. You need to get out there and ask face to face with the farmer. The farmer hasn`t got the time to answer a letter as they are bogged down with paper work these days so they hate it and won`t bother to answer. If you owned a farm and a letter turned up on your doorstep asking if some total stranger could shoot on your land ,would you let him without seeing him/her face to face and ask them what experience they had. ? I know I wouldn`t. Don`t go in your shooting gear though if it`s camo gear, its very intimidating for anyone. Smart casual is best I`v always found. Being a member of BASC or CPSA or alike helps a lot as well. Farmers do not like letters at all, unless there`s a cheque with it. Lez325
I agree - the face to face approach is always the best way- worked for me I have 6 shoots now Les
