ostrea
I am right handed and lost my sight to my right eye a few years ago decided then that i would not be able to shoot again, after a works Xmas day out clay pigeon shooting last year the instructor persuaded me to try shooting from my left shoulder and came away at the end of the day with prize for most improved shot of the day. I was hooked again. applied for my shotgun certificate and bought a Beretta silver pigeon s LH, Went back to the instructor and was coming along quite well but for the last month i am struggling ( i blame winter coat) went back to the instructor and after a around 50 shots he said the ones i am missing are always same place just under the clay. When he looked down the barrel after i had mounted the gun he noticed that i am looking down the right of the rib' to correct this i have to twist the gun slightly. To practice with my mounting is it worth me getting some kind of laser ie Bushnell Any help gratefully received.
dunganick
Surely this is a gun fit issue as opposed to a mount technique? The lasers are as far as i know to check your mounting correctly or to check an adjusted stock.
