Lez325
Is it a fixed choke please? Les
Dickiebig
Hi there, yes it is fixed choke. I belive it to be 1/2, going by the markings on the barrel. This is a very useful choke which can cover most things. If you don't know the B2000 it is a very well made semi. The barrels are very fine in appearace and have a very fine feel to them. The gas system is self compensating and will handle most loads. 70mm cases are a must, but load sizes can vary. It is also, the gas system, housed in the end of the mag tube and will go for long periods without a full clean. Being housed in the end of the tube less muck gets back into the action. The B2000 has a side loading port, opposite the ejection port, so if you are right handed, you can keep feeding shells in. It is quicker to load than anyother semi, once you have mastered the loading system. If you can't or don't want to us the speed loading facility you can just load through the ejection port and trip the latch. This is what my son used to do when he used one. I have two this one and one with a cut down stock and barrel which my boy used as his first 12g at the age of 13. So as you can see it is a fairly light gun with little percived recoil and simple to use. Part are still available from various stores in the USA and Canada. I have ordered a couple of new springs in the past with no trouble. I did sell my lads first gun a little while back, but bought it back again, and now my other lads girlfriend is using it when she comes out. Hope this helps, please feel free to ask again if you require any further help. Regards Richard.
