Shooting Permission in The North West

Hi Guys,

 

I am relocating to the north west (Oldham Area) in the next few months and have been visisting for over the last three years

 

I have tried about 20 or so farms in the area for rough shooting/pest control permission and it seems so differcult to obtain.

 

Dont know if you guys from the same area have found it differcult.

 

I am a keen shooter and like to go out often,Sgc and fac held,basc etc.

 

I still have my permissions in the south (herts and bucks) maybe I could offer someone the opputunity to shoot on permissions I have in the south

as I will be down here at least once a month for the weekend!

 

I have visited worsley clay (nice place) for clay`s on accasion and would welcome a meet up with the locals,

Hi mate, shooting up here is hard to find, as I'm experiencing. Not many people shoot up here so farmers are wary.

 

I live about 4 miles from Oldham, so when you move up, give me a shout and we'll go for a beer or hit the clays.

 

I'm persisting with finding permissions so if anything comes up, you'll be more than welcome to come out.

Hi,

I'm from Bury. We've got 500 acres here and another 1000 in Scotland. My family's very very negative towards people shooting on our land who aren't in the family due to an incident. As a result there's only me my brother and cousin who shoot this land. I'd be happy to take you out if you want and put a good word in for you with the other local farmers. I'm afraid you wouldn't gain permission on our land though.
