tosspot
Guys in the know, I need to tighten the nut on the drive "sprocket" of a small top bar saw, and presumably need to lock the crank at some point to gain the neccessary purchase, unless anyone knows of another trick i presume to take out the plug and hold the piston at a tad before TDC, my question is if the above is correct, what is the prefered method for holding the piston without causing too much stress? thanks in advance TP
Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Take the plug out and push some good old fashion cord into the bore it will jam the piston and crank etc. Regards OTH
