darren m
hi lads -- when a gun is described as having articulated triggers , what does this mean ?. thanks .
Gemini
This is normally applied to shotguns and is where the front trigger, on a double trigger gun, is hinged to allow it to move when the gun is fired. The idea is that when you pull the rear trigger you don’t get your finger bashed by the front trigger on recoil. Never noticed this at all on any of my shotguns, articulated or not. Have more of a problem with the trigger guard bashing my second finger. G.M.
Hodmedod.one
I totally agree with Gemini's answer, apart from I do think that an articulated trigger does reduce finger bruising. Perhaps I have got a fat finger!!!

Gemini
Put you finger behind the front trigger and see if it hinges forward on its own little hinge. If it does then it’s articulated. If not………… G.M.
