morgan Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Two singles for sale, Baikel IJ 18, 12bore 2.75 inch chamber, proper USSR era manufacture. Excellent condition and hardly used. Very fast and handy snap action opening, with cocking indicator and even factory engraving of a hare and a hunting dog. Perfect starter or land rover gun £45.00 English bolt action .410 of unknown model, but has birmingham proof marks and is nitro proofed for 7/16 oz load. Interestingly in some time of its life it has been drilled and tapped for probably a Parker Hale model 16 aperture sight, as I have one of these and the holes line up perfectly. Like many of these country .410's is has seen some hard use. Metal work has worn to an even grey brown colour. Stock is good with no cracks, though is worn around the take down screw, but could easily be sanded out. Bore is pitted along its length, but there is plenty of metal on the barrels. The extractor is missing off the bolt, so definately a project gun £25.00 Or both for £60.00 Will get some pics up. Face to face only can meet, Oswestry, Dolgellau, Welshpool or will be working in Chester this Wednesday or Thursday.
