Al Downie
Info here: TransK9 B23 If you're familiar with the Trans K9 boxes, you'll know how well made they are - absolutely brilliant kit, and I'm really disappointed that the TK9 guys don't make a similar box that will fit in a Defender (my Defender has a drawer in the load bay which doesn't leave enough height). So the box has been sitting in my garage unused for the last six months, because I liked it too much to sell it! But the time has come to let it go, I guess. Rubber matting inside, and in the accessory tray on top. Locking door with two keys. Cocker not included. Will sell for £185 Collection only from Cambridge area please. Birdy
I too have a Defender (110) with a store drawer between the wheel boxes. I have just bought their B24 which fits perfectly on top, straddling the wheelbox and the drawer. There is about 10 inches space left above the K9 box. So in the end I had to get a CAB box made to the size I wanted (wider than it is deep). Its good too, but not really up to the same standard of design and engineering of the TransK9. Al Downie
could you give me some measurement please ,would it be too small for two springers ? Hi Bri, Dimensions are here: http://www.dogtrailers.co.uk/b23/b23.html The floor area is 3ft x 2ft - enough room for a couple of spaniels if they're used to sleeping together in a kennel, and I know a few folk who use the same box for two dogs. There's no doubt that a bigger box would be more comfortable over long distances, but this is a good compromise which permits you to stuff the remainder of the boot with luggage. Whereabouts are you based?
