stubby
one of my permissions that keep goats and sheep have a big magpie problem, so I thought I need a few more decoys, being the tight wad I am I wanted cheap as possible, well last year I bought a dove motion decoy set from the usa, cost me around £12, but then saw them advertised on british websites with crows/magpie deeks at £56 well, blue peter mode set in.... laying them alongside a magpie deek they were noticable shorter, and smaller beaks, something I thought real magpies might suss-out, the beaks were extending with bits of "mastic nozzles" and tails extended with old foam stuff, once they were sprayed matt black, with some white bars, I reckon it'll be enough to fool the real thing, what do you reckon :look:
