TJ91
i know that the supersports bikes are not the comfiest bikes going...probably the most uncomfortable but i am wanting a supersport...'the comfiest supersport' is what i meant... i am undecided as to what to get, i am juggling 2 choices... up my budget to 2500 for sports tourer (sv650) and a cheaper (2500) sports bike (older zxr/r6) or spend my original budget on a sports bike.... i find my fzr400 very comfortable which is why i use it for commuting... i want a bigger supersport for weekend and evening fun and something for trip to scotland, isle of man, ireland, france... even though the supersports arent very comfy for most people i find them ok... 360miles in an afternoon on a zx6r...could of been comfier but it was fine for me. i have just this morning bought a cbr400 for trackdays (dont want to be flinging my main bike down the track!) i understand what everyone is telling me and i am very thankful for your comments! J@mes
Whatever you do, DONT buy a Suzuki TLR 1000 if you want passenger comfort. My brother took me out on his and after 3 miles I thought my pelvis was going to fall apart! Dad's ZZR1100 on the otherhand is like an armchair to sit on! ziplex
You'll get a near mint CBR1100xx Blackbird for £2500 if you want a decent sports tourer, worth a try if you've never ridden one. I find mine a pain around town but once on the move it's comfy and quick. Seriously good, solid bikes for not much money

Sam Green
You meet the nicest people on a Honda. (old Honda add) It has to be the CBR for all round rideability and ease of maintanence. You might wonder why my first post on a shooting forum is about bikes, well I've been a Honda owner for 48 years and a shooter for just 34, dose that make me a saddo? Sam.
