Hi got me wife a vitara 3 weeks ago and had a creak the own could not find, it was the rubber that sits between the gear box and the cross member underneath the car. Jack it up and axle jack it and get hold of the gear box and wiggle it. If thats the noise WD40 the bad boy.

CZ550Kevlar
Had the same think with my Frontera recently, had to get both front shocks replaced, one was leaking the other took 2 blokes to get off it was so seized up. that was part of the sqeeking the other bit was the top and bottom ball joints needed greasing which kwik fit did for free, however at some point they are going to need replacing which is going to cost about £
