lineshooter
I think it`s to do with the manufacturing process and different batches of the raw material, I shoot .177, and when I had my first Pcp air rifle, I decided to try and find the best pellet for it, I brought several tins of various brands and comenced testing. I now have lots of little bags of pellets with different weights marked on them, for example Airarms Field weighed between 7.8 to 8.1 grains out of a tin of 500. I know you are shooting .22, but one of the most consistant .177 brands I found were Bisley Magnum, listed at 10.5 and weighed in at between 10.5 and 10.6. The best you can do is weigh them yourself and batch them as FT shooters do, disregard published figures, chrono your gun regulary especially if you change pellets that way you stay within the legal limit
