Conygree
Tried to search for s/manuals but no luck - any ideas please. I need to change the cam belt on the Jimny and check the auto clutch on the quad. Quad prob - I keep the quad in a on the shoot so sometimes its not used much. Went to start it and it ran really rough, sounded like an exhast valve problem then conked out. Trailered it home( fuel tap set to - ON, they can flood if transported in -PRI), took the plug out and left it to dry out after flooding - wet plug. In the morning I went to hand pull it over and petrol gushed out of the plug hole. I stripped it down and found the fuel tap diaphram stuck and suspect the carb float valve, cleaned everything out. Tried to start again after a few hours to clear the fumes, and it ran ok took it for a spin with the dog on the back and all ok. Could have been a nasty incident, glad I spent years doing motor bike maintenance in my past.
