triumphant59
I own a Laurona Side-by-side Sidelock ejector. A very nice gun, not sure of its age the date stamp is not visible but I'm guessing early 70's. It is very nicely engraved with hand detacheable locks, cocking indicators and vented action. Quality/finish wise I would put it somewhere between an AYA No2 and No1. Back in 1975 I bought a new Laurona Boxlock ejector for (I beleive) £105. Does anyone recall how much the sidelock version would have cost in the early 70's compared to an AYA No2 or No1? Also how available were the sidelock versions as I can only remember my local supplier having boxlocks in stock at the time? Seem to recall my local dealer having a sidelock Sarasqueta in the window when I bought my Laurona and it was £119 (couldn't afford that!)
