Anschutz Match 54 safety catch removal

In case anyone else wishes to remove the side safety catch (not the wing safety on the early models, which is attached to the actual bolt) on his Anschutz Match 54 action - rather unlikely, I know - he may be interested in contacting me. I have just removed mine, with some trepidation, because I intend to fit the barrel and action to a new, modern stock that will not accommodate the safety mechanism, which I never use anyway when target shooting prone, and that's all I do with the rifle. There's no great difficulty but at least one thing to look out for, and it may be some comfort to follow where someone has been before in fiddling with these expensive bits of kit. The Anschutz site - manuals and parts downloads - is not much help.
