vole
I have seen the full size bean bags but does anyone use anything smaller just to put under the toe of the stock when using a bipod ? Cheers for ideas

vole
Thanks,it has given me an idea or two. Its the Wedge bag thing I would want. Think I will experiment and see if I can make one that is a bit less bulky. Found a website on filling your own. Not quite so smart but may do the trick. http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_5019921_make-rif...r-bean-bag.html

vole
Sorted. bag of dried beans in a fabric drawstring bag I lined with poly bags, hope they are not Mexican Jumping Beans however. Ta for replies. It is bound to be steadier than my left hand bunched under the stock.
Devon Fox
I have a Browning wedge bag, filled with sand which is excellent for shooting from the pick up bed, not very portable with sand in it! I find it a good solid platform to shoot from.
