Frenchieboy
OK Guys. I have a Bruno Fox Model 2 in .222 calibre with a twin set trigger. The gun might be old and knocked about but it is still extremely accurate and a pleasure to use so I am not prepared to swap it for a newer gun. The only problem I have with it is the trigger - If I put it on "set" the second stage is so light that you only have to look at it and the gun will go off, but if I use the normal "front" trigger on it's own it is a bit on the "stiff" or "heavy" side for my liking. On careful inspection I can see that there is a small cross headed screw in between the two triggers (Which I have not tried altering as I do not like to "play" with something that I know very little about, especially where guns are concerned) Can anyone tell me if this screw is to adjust the triggers with and if so which way I would need to turn it to lighten the trigger a bit. (I do realise that if I lighten the trigger I would have to cock the bolt and give the rifle a few hard knocks to make sure that it is not set too lightly). The photo below clearly shows the screw that I am talking about! Any advice please?
