JMW
Hey, Picked up my Mossberg 590 today from my RFD who had taken delivery of the 590 from elsewhere on my behalf as they dont stock them. It had been test fired and greased by the RFD who shipped it to me. I have noticed that the barrel extension that has been put on to make the length 24 1/2 inches looked rather delecate, and on further inspection noticed that a few of the lower thin connecting strips (not sure what to call them) were out of place, looking to me like when it is fired the wad/shot/pressure has distorted them (see pic). My question is this, are there any 590 owners on here who have had the same thing on their guns, and also is this a problem/dangerous? Thanks Jon Edited June 15, 2010 by JMW
JMW
Spoke to my RFD and he has made contact with the people who make the add on for the barrel and they would like to see it so I am sending them the barrel and they will change it, also they are going to refund me the postage cost which is good.
