Went out last Tuesday evening just for a couple of hours and a long walk around the fields. It started off well, withing the first five minutes i had a rabbit and a carrion crow. The first rabbits shown in the photo, but the crow landed in a field on the other side of the dyke and it was a mega walk to get round it so it was left for the fox. I was really happy with the start and continued on to a hedgerow which sits nicely under a flightline used by the crows which travel from the fields back to the a row of large trees on the opposite end of the field. The winds were high which kept the birds high in the sky and i couldnt hit a thing. I was so frustrated about my shooting. Must have had a go at 15 crows and only killed one. I thought that i best get down the clay ground and practice. The thing that was frustrating was that only a couple of weeks ago i had shot in exactly the same position and was hitting them easily. Anyway in my annoyed stuppor i continued my walk around the site to an area i havent previously been before. Found a small field crawling with rabbits. If i had a riffle it would have been paradise. Instead i used the semi and managed to get 6 rabbits which are shown in the photo. Ive also included a photo of all the crows that came out of the trees after i shot at the rabbits. They were just all to high.

All in all i finished annoyed about not hitting the crows but happy with the rabbits, especially seems i hit three with the first barrage. The first hit a still rabbit and i used the remaining two carts to hit two rabbits making a dash for the safety of the verge. Cheered me up that i wasnt a cmopletly useless shot.
