Hi looking for some advice before contacting my local firearms dept and hope some one maybe able to help.

I have been offered 52 acre's of farm land in the south of Leicestershire it is mainly open feilds with rabbits foxes and other vermin, as far as i no it has not been proofed for any fire arm but i know that surounding farms and area all are for up to 243 as it is well rural, Do you think i will have problems having it authorised for 22 centre fire and how long would it take.

I know it sounds a bit vauge but i am unable to post any further details on an open forum.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Albob i have had to do that anyway it is not an easy permission as it involves the police and a ongoing civil matter and i was worried about conflit of intrest.

I have been advised to send in written permission and the land will proberbly be signed off fingers XX

good luck and you may be surprised at the outcome,as most of us shooters have an habit of looking on the bleak side of things, when in fact they turn out to be the opposite.

got to admit that some areas will not tell you if it is passed or not, until you have put a permission letter in..

hope it goes well. :hmm:
