Frenchieboy
OK Guys, I was trying to sort out an MP3 system as a fox caller but I have ended up buying a Cass Creek Predator with Remote. It has 5 different calls - Jack Rabbit, Cottontail Rabbit, Coyote Howl, Pup Yips and Fawn Distress. I was hoping to get out this evening and give it a try but it has been peeing down all evening, and still is! I've had a play about with it and driven the wife mad - A Coyote howling every 5 minutes through Emmerdale didn't go down at all well, but it seems to work fine. What I want to know before I go out in the field and frighten every fox for miles is does anyone else use one of these callers and if so what calls do they find work best? Also, how long do you leave the caller running for, what sort of volume settings do you use and would you combine it with other callers and whistles for a bit of variety? p.s. I have thought of a use for the Coyote Howl even if it is useless for foxing with - I thought I would hide it in our "Communal Lounge" and set it going with the Coyote Howling while the senior citizens are playing Bingo one night! Should be worth a laugh Edited July 13, 2010 by Frenchieboy
