NICKC00PER
Hi All, I'm in the process of designing a speed controller that can be controlled from the hide without wires [radio control], would this be of interest to you? I am also thinking of including a flapper/pecker, activated via the same box [all wireless]. This controller will use P.W.M so will give you complete control over your magnet I would welcome suggestions/comments. I enjoy tinkering with electronics as much as I do shooting so it will be used and tested by me 1st. Nick
jonno 357
Sounds like a good idea. I know a guy who already makes then at £29 each Jonno
malcolm
Twenty nine quid, thats good, I made one and the radio/transmitter pair cost twenty-twenty-five quid alone. Do you have the guy's details. Malcolm

NICKC00PER
Hi, Does that one give you full control, i.e any setting between off and full speed? I have seen ones that act like a remote switch, Without any speed control. Would people prefer to control it via a pot or a two way toggle switch? With full control on the receiver and full control from the transmitter in the hide? Nick
malcolm
Nick, You really need control on the receiver, because when you loose the keyfob and you've carried all the gear out, except a scewdriver, you are ********. I did it last Saturday. Having said that, I still haven't put control on the receiver. Malcolm
NICKC00PER
Hi, With the circuit i am designing you can control it via the receiver as well as the keyfob. As to losing the keyfob/remote controler you can get another one and reprogram it by shorting a link on the P.C.B. I might even add a learn switch should the keyfob/remote controller get lost. malcolm
Thats a good idea Nick, its just that my farmer doesn't sell keyfobs . So as for last Saturday what I really needed is receiver control as you suggested. Malcolm Edited December 24, 2005 by malcolm
NICKC00PER
Malcolm, Can your farmer source you a new keyfob to replace the one you lost? Nick
