Clay pigeon ground

I am coming down to Bristol with work next Thurdays and probably staying over night. Are there any "good" clay grounds near Bristol that I might be able to frequent later afternoon/early evening on the Thursday please.

I understand that the Mendip Shooting Ground does a Thursday evening shoot. Quite straightforward from south Bristol. If you're in north Bristol, then my usual haunt at Chatcombe (Ian Coley SS) would only be about 45mins away (up the M5 to 11A, then about 10-15mins from the junction).

 

I won't pretend to know any which are closer though, and certainly not if they're any good.

Make it Mendip mate, I`m not far from there and its a good ground but you have to use their cartridges.
