wy111 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Share Posted August 16, 2010 Have had the same thing happen over many years, never %100 sure why or what, but suspect fox or more likely stripey, frightening the **** out of it. I have 1 larsen, built with 1"weld mesh, which they can't break through, as they can with chicken wire and had it dug all round by"whatever" trying to get in and maggie been happy for months, THEN, just curled it's toes up, same with over wintered birds, but definately know of no interference by toothy things. The problem of toothy, can be circumvented by a couple of ways, Renodine being one, but not sure if still legal or obtainable(But know of farmers who still paint lambs with it), the other, a lump of Pb :blink: Dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
