skinkus Posted January 14, 2006 Report Share Posted January 14, 2006 Me and the sister boyfriend chris decided to do some early morning lamping today. walked round my permission and shot 4 rabbits two of them with the .22 and two with the .223 (head shots) not alot of head left! Then just as we were heading back Chris spotted to eyes bout 800yrds away. so after a little stalk we were about 300yrds away from the eyes. Managed to work out that its was a fox on its belly feeding. After a quick squeek a nice big dog fox stood up. Big mistake .223 straight through the heart and nearly out of neck.
