Hi Mate,

I Literally just made some more kennels. heres a few piccies.

Just cut a hold in my stable block- this leads to a big insulated box which you can get into on the inside.

3m X 2.5m run base with drain

Used these 'tiles' for the shed base. Cheaper, quicker and better draining.

10' x 8' pent shed. could have been much smaller but decieded to put a dryer and freezer in there along with space to dry wet shooting stuff. Made a proper door and added a window (ebay specials-real bargins!)

Pop hole made from scratch. Ally bar stock and resin impreg board- maybe cost about £25.

Lined, insulated and tiled the sleeping quarters.

And almost finished

Run with roof- £360

Shed-£550

Door+2 windows- £40

Concrete base- £200

Shed base- £120

Additional timber, tiles, drains, guttering, insulation, electrics- I daren't look. Not cheap though. To be honest I got carried away. The dogs live better than us now

Suppose It depends on how far you go. Mates rate, trade discount etc. The small things add up though.

nice one moz, looks great mate and the kind of thing that im looking into.

do them run panels just bolt together and then to the floor.

also how did you insulate the sleeping area.

cheers, jay.

3 panel sections, all bolted together. realy easy to fit. All of the kennel manufacturers sell them, the delivery can be expensive though. The roof is a luxury but give me undercover work/drying area. Insulation-just used non itch roof insulation, lots of other options but I was in a hurry and needed to get the kennel habitable.

Lewis seems to have a knack of building nice setups :hmm:
