Ive shot there a good few times, we used to go early december, if its still you will struggle but if its real rough out at sea there will be more wigeon than you could poke a stick at roosting in the reserve end, good numbers of pinks and greys use the eden from time to time, had probably the best driven wigeon and teal shooting ever on back side of cobble point one afternoon in a huge on shore gale, as the tide ran out thousands of birds tried to get out over the point, i stopped shooting when i had about a dozen and watched for the next 45 minutes, could have shot 200 there were that many.

 

we tramped in through tensmuir forest one afternoon to try the far side behind the air base, dont bother its bloody miles and to get back out in the dark is a nightmare

 

just prey for rough weather and you'll have some sport
