goldeneye243
I am in my first year of shooting and been enjoying some clay pigeon shooting. I started off with a Lanber and did not notice any recoil and never got bruised. I then changed for a miroku, which fits me better in terms of sight picture, but I now get a slightly bruised shoulder when I shoot. The bruising is in the pocket and on the bony area on the outside edge of the pocket. I have changed the solid butt plate for a recoil pad, but it still gets me when I shoot. I guess it could be that the gun is too long, is that a possibility?

He'll tell you if its too long or short etc. If it's too short its easy enough to fix with a slip on recoil pad or by adding or removing a spacer.
