Cracking Day

Having watched 2 fields of pea stubble all week I was very hopeful of a decent day. My pal Steve and I set up at 11am (in wrong place) but quickly moved to get under busy flight line with strong northerly wind behind us. Birds came steadily all day but roughly only 1 in 3 decoyed, the rest veering off at 60 yards. No amount of tweeking would change it. :good:

Ended up with 88 picked. Found out later from the keeper that another gun had shot 160 on the field 10 days ago. That accounted for the wary birds.

A cracking day of tricky shooting. A good bag for the area as there has been so much stubble for the birds to chose from.

Got pic on phone but not sure yet how to upload!
