jonesbach
thats a saying i go by too. mounts on at the moment are sportsmatch and cost around £35. is it worth me upgrading!? were the leupolds you had on the complete leupold mounting ie base and rings? or do leupold make a weaver style ring? garyb
I used the stock bases and the Leupold weaver style rings.... By all means try the sportsmatch, and see if it holds a decent zero, you might be ok? If you were running expensive Euro glass, then the cost of the mounts would be well worth it. jonesbach
ill give them a go with the WTC but may get upgrades on the xmas list if i dont get much luck holding zero..!lol! seen a set of leupolds on ebay for just under £30. The scope isnt in the same class as s+b etc but should do the trick for what i need!
