vmax55
I normally shoot 55gr ballistic tips. But what would be the heaviest it would throw to give me more punch? And does anyone use a max heads? what are they like? Thanks
Rem223
60gr is probably about as heavy as you can get away with in a .223 with 1:12 twist. A-max are designed for target shooting so they probably won't give very good expansion on small critters like fox. They are good bullets but you are probably better off with V-max or Blitzkings etc.
Mr_Logic
A-max expand violently and are excellent for rabbit/fox. I know from experience. 52gr will be the heaviest a-max you can use in 1:12 so if 55gr Noslers work for you, stick with.
