jamie g
hi guys my old man and i are thinking about selling the m595 tikka 222 we have it has been cut to 18 inchs and threaded m14x1 by richard pope of swift percision rifles. [ we had it cut to this length to use as a truck gun and keep the weight down for my dad. 18 inch's is ideal length if you want a compact 222 as it doesnt use that much powder and using reloader 7 you can still keep the fps up with short barrel the stock and action are in superb condition. the barrel has a little wear but the rifle shoots spot on here is a 4 shot group at 100 yards with reloaded ammo we use in it. 40 grain blizkings, cc1 benchrest primer. reloader 7 powder, ppu brass the rifle still shoots to 1/2 inch with 50 grain tnt bullet and reloader 7 powder, cci bench rest primer, ppu case. here is the picture of the rifle. as you can see its in superb nick you would think its not far off new. only selling due to seeing a 20 tac which could be at the right price. if we cant get that then we will end up getting this rebarreled. which is a shame as its nice as it is. looking for £395 this is what the rifle cost us with the work from mr pope on top. will give the load data for it also. the rifle will come with the rings and bases in the picture. just not the zeiss scope and ase mod as that will go on the 20 tac Edited October 22, 2010 by jamie g
