i have a lincoln shotgun and wanted a bit more info on the company themselves - was it lincoln themselves that make the shotguns or a different company and if you have there contact details would be apriciated

Lincoln is the brand name applied by David Nickerson to guns he imported until he retired in 2007.

 

Although some early ones, pre 1971, were made in other factories, for the past 25yrs or so all Lincolns have been made in the FAIR factory by I Rizzini.

 

The FAIR factory distributes its own production as Rizzini, the UK production are now imported by J Rothery Wholesale in the Lincoln branding. RUAG inports some of the range and brands them Rotweill. Savage Arms rebrand their imports from FAIR to the US, and there have been some guns branded Gasperini on sale in the UK also from the FAIR factory.

 

Except for cosmetic make up all these guns are identical.
