can you still shoot on

It`s about 45 yrs since I shot geese on the Solway, but back then it was against the rules to leave the grass to shoot,

by going out onto the roost, do you mean going out on to the mud?

 

you still cant leave the grass and go out to the roost on the solway

 

but on other estuarys/bays there is no law against it.. only the greedy and inconsiderate do it though

and yes going out onto the mud

i cross mud to get to an island to shoot from but i dont sit right on the roost
