I like to keep mine and tally them up at the end of the season to give me an idea of how many birds I shoot, I like to snip about an inch and a half of the end of the bill and put the pin feathers in the holes on either side, it's a good way of keepin them from getting lost,I've some that I shot almost 30 years ago. They are so precious I would never think of wasting them especially when they come from (in my opinion) the best game bird in the world with maybe the exceptions of the Grouse. f3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
